Whole San Marzano tomatoes in tomato juice. The San Marzano is ideal for pasta, in particular, ravioli or cannelloni. Its flavour is typically bitter-sweet and goes well with stuffed meat or cheese. San Mazano tomaotes are mainly cultivated in the Agro Nocerino-Sarnese area, and it is known worldwide for its great soil characteristics- making the harvest authentically fragrant and tasty. They are very delicate tomatoes, which should be handled very carefully. After harvest, the tomatoes are washed and canned, with no additives or preservatives.
In 2002 Solania was granted the recognition logo of quality -LAIQ and later in 2003 Slow Food elected Solania as a qualified enterprise in the transformation and production of San Marzano tomato D.O.P
