11 year old rum from the brilliant Ron Santiago de Cuba. A deliciously spicy expression, with enough fruity esters and brown sugar notes to balance it out wonderfully.
Tasting note: Grilled pineapple, dusted with cinnamon and cumin. Black pepper develops. Green banana, caramel and perhaps a touch of Sherry.
